What schools were there in Dover for the years 1812-1820.  Do any of the record exist and where would I find them?

"Historical directories" may give references.
Pigots 1824 is available on line to search for Kent .
in Dover - Academies are listed with their principals and address
and a reference in town info about national school erected 1820 and school of industry for girls 1819.

Thanks for that. am trying to line up avenues of enquiry as I hope to be visiting various record offices in April May.  Anything I can do before that to help  limit my search will be useful.
