Rolls for the Gordon Highlanders 1914-1918

Not sure if I should post this here, or at the Armed Forces section. I will post it here because it is of local interest.

I came across this site while searching for Connon ancestors in Turriff.

http://gordonhighlanders.carolynmorrisey.com/index.htm

Came in very hany for me. According to the site, my great grandfather (Robert Cassie Connon was discharged from the army deemed 'Medically Unfit'.
There are some holes in the database, but still. It's free.
Hope it can be of use to fellow Rootschatters.
Strachan of Strichen/New Pitsligo - Connon of Turriff - Watt of Pennan - Noble of Broadsea -  Garden of Peterhead - Bryson of Ecclefechan

Coincidentally, I just found the link this morning and saw my grandfather mentioned as injured in the German/Spring Offensive. It's such a strange sensation to dip into moments in history, very sobering.
