Deb
Richard Harry s/o William Harry and Margaret Cooke who married Philippa Tremaine, seems to have been a shoemaker or cordwainer. He is buried at St Breok.Philppa came from St Minver and is also buried St Breock (aged 78).Did I give you their 7 children born St Merryn and St Brock?

William Harry b St Breock who married Catherine Heard was a shoemaker.Just noticed something unusual. The parents of Catherine Heard were John Heard and Catherine Harry.Seems funny.
Catherine Harrybpt 22 May 1757 St Kew,married 12 Oct 1776 St Breock,John Heard b1751.
Their third daughter Catherin Heard b1788 was the one who married William Harry 1814.

I have the Census St Breock Churchtown a little different eg
Catherine 50 indep. William 23 Shoe Maker Ann 21 Jane 15 Mary 11
Interesting that a Cleeve family should be next door.Remember there was Rebecca Cleeve who I thought married a Harry but others insist it is Harris.

The name Henwood rings a bell.I will need to check. It might just be that I have seen the name frequently.

Thomas Henwood = Aug 1692 St Endellion,Hannah Linam d/o Richard Linam of Trewitherd (Parish of Endellion).
Not sure if this helps but could be a variation on Lynam.

I also have a note that a Richard Harry paid rent 1747/8 for the Manor of Polroad-- Lynams Tenement in Trelill twice.
Lynams Tenement is mentioned in the Will of John Lynam1715 ( I have a copy).Richard Harry thought to be a son of William Harry and Philippa (Lynam).Philippa Harry died 13 Mar 1746.( I have a copy of her Will also)
Wyatt and Wood of Glossop, Derbyshire. Longstaff of Bishop Auckland,Durham. Harry of St Austell and St Kew,Cornwall. Charters of County Antrim.Knight of Warwickshire.Hendy of Ballyedmonduff.

Good morning Deb
Like a bad penny I keep turning up.
No doubt I have confused you with the Will copies but I thought there might be a worthwhile clue within.

You made a posting 21 Dec listing 3 Harry possibilites.
This led me to the following speculation (I stress speculation).

Willielmus Harry bc1595
Married c1620 ??? don't know.

They had a son Willielmi Harry b1644

This Willielmi bpt 26 May 1644
Married c1680 ??? dont know
They had children:
Maria bpt 1681
William (1) bpt 1684
Joanna bpt 11 Apr 1687
William (2) bpt 17 Feb 1689
??? 1691 / was this John who married Margaret Hamley?
Dorothea bpt 8 Mar 1692

William Harry (2) bpt 17 Feb 1689 dC 1733 bur 15 Apr 1733

Married c1716 Philippa Lynam (widow) bpt c1688 d C1746 bur 13 Mar 1746
I have her Will.

If you need to take a rest from the Harrys for a while, please let me know.

Hi Guys  :)

There is a William Harry = Elizabeth ??
 23 NOV 1672   Saint Buryan

they had:
FRANCIS HARRYE   ~ 26 OCT 1673 Saint Buryan
JOANE HARRY  ~  24 MAY 1675   Saint Buryan
WILL HARY  ~ 1676 Saint Buryan
PRUDENCE HARRYE  ~ 10 JAN 1679 Saint Buryan

What if this is Willielmi b 1644 ...first marriage.... ?
then he went on to have the other kids .... I am running out of ideas ...LOL

do we need to fill in any gaps re; marriages and census details ....etc..
