My inherited notes have a comment that b1835 "may have been a sea captain" but this has not been substantiated.

who was supposed to have been the captain?

Hello Deb
I am working through your latest data.
Pallots Marriage Index
Marriage 2 Feb 1809 John Harry = Jane Best St Stephens in Brannel is mine.John 1766-1816 St Kew s/o Matthew Harry and Elizabeth Benallack.John was a brother of my William Harry who married Isabel Trethewy 22.4.1797 St Stephen in Brannel.

Did you notice that Charles Harry born St Gennys was a sojourner when he married Mary Nancarrow at Illogan 21 Mar 1780 ?

Just a thought re Maria (Hammer) Harry, widow of John Harry who died Brazil. I wonder if she could have remarried as I was told that there was a marriage recorded for a Maria Harry 4th Quarter 1874.

hi Rex ...
Have you established that he was born St Genny's ...if so then we have his christening and his parents ...see above.

I will look for Maria Hammer.
