at Last ...we have one of the harry children

1901:
Tavistock
Village of Milton Abbot
Henry Dymond head mar 65 gen lab b Werrington, Devon
Mary wife mar 60 b St Austell
Maria Netherton wid mother-in-law 77 b St Austell

Okay ... I found this marriage
Henry Dymond = Mary Borlase
dec q 1890, Tavistock

then ...
Mary HARRY = Sampson BORLASE
Dec q 1860
St Austell

It seems that one of John and Maria Harry's girls stayed behind and did not go to Brazil .... If you order Marry Harry's marriage cert it would tell us what John's, the pirate, occupation was ...

in 1861

Plymouth , St Andrew
7 Railway cottages
Sampson BORLACE (sic) head mar 28 soldier b Roach , Cornwaal
Mary wife mar 19 b St Austell
Joseph HARRY, BROTHER,9 scholar b St Austell

we did not know that John and Maria Harry had a son , Joseph, as the last time we see John , the dad, is in 1851 ...with Maria and his daughters.

Why did John and Maria go to Brazil and leave him behind? Or had they not left for Brazil?

PS ...when are you going to wake up ?  :D ;D

Okay ...just to recap...

1851:
St Austell
John Harry 30 =dies in Brazil
Maria (Hammer) Harry 27 = 2. Thomas Crabb; = 3. Richard Netherton
Mary 9 = 1. Sampson Borlase; = 2. Henry Dymond
Elizabeth 6
Anna Jane 3
Christiana 1

Then Joseph Harry is born in 1852.

so we need to find the other daughters.... 8)
