Please accept my condolensces on your sad loss.  So many of us never met Peter, but he became a support and font of all knowledge to so many of us researching our family history.  He was held in the highest of esteem and will be greatly missed by Rootschatters.

So very sorry to hear this sad news, and I send my condolences to his family.
As so many people have said before, Peter was a true genealogical gentleman, a respected helper, member and moderator on this site.
He helped me a great deal with my Cheshire ancestors, and was always patient and understanding of my ignorance when I was a newbie -- and afterwards too, if the truth be told.
He will have broken down all his brick walls
        Rest peacefully....
