A true gentleman and a shining star of Rootschat.  I am deeply saddened.  My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Peter Bennett

I  am very, very sorry to hear that news and I pass my condolences on to his family.

Peter had become a very good friend right from the beginning of his time on Rootschat and often helped me with data from Cheshire where it seems my roots were.

We were intending to visit Macclesfield during the holidays in 2008 and a visit to Peter was definitely on the cards.

I for one will sadly miss him.
