I was very shocked and saddened by the news of Peter. He has helped me a lot on the Cheshire boards. we are all the richer for knowing such a gentleman.
He will be sorely missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

I am saddened by the news. Peter was a wonderful help when I discovered my ancestors were from Cheshire. He was patient and informative and guided me in the right direction - and yes I found them.
My sincere condolences to his family.

To come home from work and find this thread was upsetting
Peter was well liked, respected and always willing to assist others.
My sincere condolences to all his family - may the memories you have, comfort you all now and in the future.
