I'm so sorry to hear this sad news, he was a great help to me when I first started researching the Cheshire area and I'm sure many people will miss him terribly  :'(

My condolences to his family.

Mods, members, and even guests have all benefited from his wisdom and his willingness to share.

I (and everybody else on RootsChat) will sorely miss him.

So sorry to hear this sad news. Peter was a very kind and helpful man.
My condolences to all his family. It may give you a little comfort to know how well-liked and respected he was by us all.

I am so very sorry to hear such sad news.  I have been in contact with Peter many times through the Cheshire board and he has helped me so much over the years that I've been a member here.

My sincerest condolences to Gillian and all Peter's family.
