Dear Gilian,  I haven't experienced your father's contributions to RootsChat, but have received much assistance in my own research through this web site.  It's been invaluable.

I lost my own father the 15th of December in 1968 and the pain is only slightly less now than it was then.  I know the grief your family and friends feel and would add my support and prayers for all of you.  RedFox
