Try Durham Record Office. The Hanby Holmes (solicitor) papers are archived there. My better half worked for him and she seems to remember several Ewbank documents.
Hodgson/Pounder/Porter - New Forest, N. Yks.
Lee/Allinson/Shield/Porter/Horn(e) - Teesdale.
Lo(a)ngstaff - Bedale/Staindrop.
Raisbeck/Shaw/Chapman - Hawnby & Cowton.
Jewson - Norfolk & Tyneside. Marley - Liverton.
Lilley - Lincs. & Staindrop.

I have quite a lot of Ewbank information from Teesdale. There's a lot posted on Nancy McLoughlin's Kirkby Stephen website too. That's where the Ewbanks all came from originally: Brough/Stainmore/Kirkby Stephen
