I just came across this thread as I was looking for Attewells.
I have fifty Attewells recorded in my tree from the Ebbw Vale, Glossop, Monmouthshire and Glamorgan areas.
Thomas Henry Attewell (who you were enquiring about his children) for example, was my great great-uncle.
Emily Attewell, his sister was my great grandmother.

Can we swap info?

Elizabeth Anne Attewell 1891 i believe is from Cymmer she is my Great Great Grandmother on my grandfaters side is

Elizabeth Ann (My 1st cousin twice removed) was actually born in Hawthorn, which is a couple of miles south east of Pontypridd.
You may see Cymmer, Eglwysilan, Ferndale or Cilfynydd on documents - They are all around a couple of miles from Pontypridd.
In 1891 she was living in Hawthorn.
In 1901 she was living at 10, Brewery Street, which is between Pontypridd and Ferndale.
In 1891 and 1901, she was living with her father Thomas Henry, b1865 in Blaina.
If Elizabeth is your GG Grandmother, then presumably, your G Grandfather was Ernest Thomas, b1915?
There is a bit of a mystery surrounding her - According to our records, she gave birth to Ernest Thomas Attewell in Q2 1915 (father unknown), but she married a John Edgar Hughes in Q3 1915. Do you know any more detail than that?
