Is there any Purdue's out there .
My granny was Annie Purdue , married Joseph Wixted(Killed in 1st world war in Ypres, Belgium
August 1917
 after 5 or 6 years Then Married James Westwood

Her Father's name was John Purdue Shoemaker  married Mary Coughlan grand father was Peter Purdue shoemaker

Hi

There was a John Purdue born 19 May 1875  Dublin.  His father was Peter Purdue and mother was Ellen Cavanagh.  Wonder was this John the father of Annie?
