Oooh yes I will be  ready for that Annie .. I've already got your room ready for you !  ;) I'm hoping to get to see Robert before the Autumn sets in though a part of me wants to wait to see the stone for the first time when both you and Michel are there ...   I just so hoped we would find a photo of him eventually .... something happens when you find am image of someone you seem to know so much about .... one day maybe .... Love to all of you who visit this thread xx Poll

ps Tisgrannie !! Wow you get about a bit !!! :o :o ;D

Annie, Spring would be lovely.
It is part of missing the kinship we all shared. It was fascinating to check in each day to see what was going on.
Hi polldoll. I am taking advantage of my school holidays and making the most of being able to still get around. As I am getting older and having a bus pass I want to take all chances to get away. My next planned jaunt is Christmas in Florida. A warm Christmas mmmmm. Also we shall get in some War Graves in France no doubt.
Best wishes all.

Tisgrannie!!!

You're not trying to tell us your bus pass takes you to North Carolina, New York and Florida are you?

I know some of us are getting on a bit, but we're not that daft!  ::)

Hello everyone!  Nice to hear from you all - I've missed you!  ;D

I haven't been back to Robert's grave but I am planning to go on Remembrance Sunday after my Church service.  I should be able to get some poppies to leave there so I'll do it in the group's name.

Just so you know, my History Exhibition was a huge success with over 120 people coming over the two days which was more than I could have dreamed of.  I've put some of the photos on my Speke Liverpool website if anyone wants to visit and will be adding more old photos of the area and it's people over the next couple of months.

Good to hear from you all,

Lynne

I drive, so if needed I can drive and park at the station.
I look forward to driving to St Peters in Woolton for our get together.
Hope its sooner rather than later.
best wishes
