Well done, one and all.

Monday is Memorial Day in the US...the equivalent of Poppy Day. Lovely timing.

Cheers,

What a wonderful outcome to a most memorable quest.    The stone looks just marvelous now.

Poll, your picture is just perfect - thank you.

Although the cross next to Robert's grave looks a problem, the men from Welsby's were happy that it is quite safe at the present time, As with all monuments within the churchyard we try and keep an eye on them for signs of change and this would particularly be the case for a grave that is visited on a regular basis. We'll do our best at St P, particularly in view, of all your hard work.

Graham Thanks so much for the mention of the next grave to Roberts. Its such a shame at the way nature takes its course. Its a lovely Churchyard and I know you will keep an eye on things.
Thank you very much for the time and effort you have put into this quest. Its greatly appreciated by us all. Sorry I couldn't get over sooner yesterday I maybe could have met you. But the future awaits, I look forward to it. Its a beautiful looking Church. also I would love come to Service sometime. If I get there at the right time.!
Thanks again
Best wishes

Hi Tisgrannie

I can't believe we missed each other!  We were probably there within half an hour of each other and we also took photos of the great Bob Paisley's grave with Alan looking on - good job we have these OH's to pose in our photos!

I love the poppy on Robert's stone - I may take one with me to leave as well.  Maybe we can gradually build them up into a bouquet!

Just a note about Welsbys - there is an email address on their website if anyone would like to send them a message of thanks - enquiries @ welsbys.co.uk - *without the spaces!

Lynne

Hi Lynne

Just sent an email to Welsbys - what a remarkable job they have done to the grave!

It must be quite awesome to see it for real - the photos are very emotional and I suspect a few tears have been/will be shed graveside!

As a 'distance' participant, I would like to thank all those 'on site' who have done so much running around and to thank all who have participated in any way big or small.

I feel very proud to be a part of it and am determined one day to go and see it for myself.

Wonderful photos everyone - Thank you.

Su xx
