Thanks to Scrimnet and 'the lads' for offering to come along!  I think it would make the day complete.  I hope we can all come to agree on the same weekend!

With regards to the medallion, it might be best to ask Michel first what he wants to do.

Thank you for that Lynne.  Michel is he guardian of the medallion and it is his alone to decide what he wants to do with it.  I find the presumtive discussion about what to do with the it very distressing.  The medallion is what started Michel on this search and it is very dear to him.  IF he needs some help once he has made his decision we should then be there to help him.

It is so hard for all of us not to have opinions on every aspect of this especially those of you who were in from the beginning and worked so hard to find Robert and possible family.

But I think it's very important...no matter how attached we have become to remember dear Michel and just how much this means to him.  We should take our cues from him.  It would be terrible at this point for Michel to feel he has any pressure on him. He may decide to keep the medallian and I fear any discussion otherwise might disrupt his peace with that decision.

I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone.

They cannot give a definite date for completion because it depends on the preparatory work required but they said if the get together can be arranged  for the first week in June they will endeavour to have it ready by then.

Coincidentally I had been planning a trip to Liverpool for the first or second week in June to visit family ....it would be good to be there for this !

But one does tend to forget that now he can no longer return the tag to Roberts descendants, he might want to keep it.
I think it was as well that you mentioned it.

Thank you for the update Miss M .... sounds like everything seems to be falling into place !! 

I for one - would love to see photos of the stone going up if anybody can be there ...... I don't like to say too much in case I jinx it ..... ( I shouldn't have watched the Liverpool game the other night !!  ) as it seems I have a habit of doing that .......... but I can't thank you enough for all the running around you've done !!
