I cant see it in the on line version and I don't get it until after 2pm but will post it up if its in the Echo today http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/

I think they would be interested in the follow up story especially if we have a liverpool meet in St Peters Church after the stone is righted

Edna

Thanks Edna for putting this in
I have just sat and read this out to my Oh and we are so pleased to be able to read this as you know we are up north
I've scanned and sent this to my Son in law as he is a strong supporter of Liverpool football team
Had no idea Graham was Bob Paisley's son .So glad to have helped
Thanks again

TISGRANNIE !!!

I'm Tissie (it's now a new adjective)  :D :D  about what you have written, as all have said, I could not have done it with more clarity. Thank You.

I have to admit when I first read the "on-line" article I was really disappointed, in the same way Annie was, , no RC mention, Michel a farmer............ :P but your right, if they bring in a family member it would be the ultimate joy for all of us, and especially Michel

Lynne: don't you for a minute think of doing yourself down!!, not Annie, or any of us, meant it like that, God bless you lady this would not have happened without YOU, between you and Tisgrannie, you have pulled off a good 'un......and you truly deserve a :-*

Bonsoir à tous,

I have just read and translate all that you have written after the publication of an article on "our Robert in" Liverpool Echo. "

Dear Lynne,

That I am a farmer or not really did not matter ... But in what is written in the newspaper there is certainly an element of truth, because before being in the drawer of my desk, where I have "recovered" it nearly thirty years,  Robert's wrist tag was probably been found in fields or at least in the wild by a farmer ... Which has filed at the town hall of La Couture ... ! In fact I have been an intermediate...

And it's true that I am a man of the countryside and love nature ... I am also an horrible hunter  ;)

I have not personally done all this to have my name or my job written in a newspaper, but it's true that at this stage of success I would have been proud and happy ...

The main thing is that the memory of Robert is respected and that it could again be honoured properly when  his grave stone will be repaired and read by all visitors to the cemetery in Woolton ... I hope they will be numerous and may be, with a miracle, can we be in contact with a descendant or a relative who show us a photograph of our dear man.

Thank you very much for your wonderful work, You will remain forever with all the other friends of Rootschat in my heart and I am proud to have been able to get to know and to have been part time for your family.

It's deliberately that I did not mention names for fear of forgetting or offend someone, each knowing exactly its share of work in this great adventure, you deserve all, whatever the size of your speech regardless of how you intervened, my deepest respect and gratitude.

Michel
(once again, sorry for my poor english)

If you're pleased, I'm pleased, Michel, if you had not found the tag we would not have had this wonderful story.
