Poll, take heart, you're not alone. I was staying at a family run hotel in the north of Scotland once. Lovely soup, always a good choice...then the kids broke for school holidays and daughter tried to help out... you guessed it.. most the soup went down the drain the first night. They were such nice people, I don't think anyone complained.
