Thank you Mods

The top Photo is the group handshake for all those there in spirit and I am small fat blonde and Lyne is the young pretty one

The next pic is collycuts and partner along with Graham and Lynne and I am sorry the pics are blurred but I took my small camera which isn't perfect but handbag size.

Plus you wouldn't really want a clear picture of me trust me.

I had a great time today meeting friends from rootschat and Graham and Lynne very kindly collected me from the train station and colliecuts and Mrs collicuts took me back there on the return so thank you all for your kindness

sorry I made a mess of posting the pictures but thanks to the mods they got there in the end

hi all

Is this not just fantastic.?

May I take a moment of your time whilst you are sitting comfortably
Is it not also fantastic of how the plight of Robert's tag has brought out the good in people - from all over the place!  That's what I also hold up as a result too.

Well done to you! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Sorry I forgot to add the most important message that Graham said to relay that his boss the Vicar said that if we want him to do a small memorial service when we have a rootschat get-together at Roberts Graveside then he will do it for us so isn't that wonderful news.

Annie,Michel, and all of us sometime next year with Scrimnet and friends doing the salute to Robert and tea and sandwiches in the Church hall and we might just invite the Echo to come along and join us if they behave themselves.

I have Grahams card with his personal contact details if and when required.

Well Edna where do I send my contribution for the scaffolding on the Grave next to Roberts. You are a riot and my kind of lady. I think that was so funny!!
Isn't it all wonderful? Very theraputic, a massive feel good factor. Are you in the NW?. Getting the train, just curious. Can't wait to meet you.
The photos were brilliant you got the point across, beautiful gesture.
Thank you so much for your contribution. Lynne you are lovely, Sorry about the Blue Rinse jokes. My goodness you are a baby!!! You can call me grannie!
I feel so good, thank you all!
Kind regards

Tisgrannie

I dont usually walk with the stick any longer but brought it for you it folded up in my bag

I am a scouser living in Southport 12 years now but its nice to add a bit of humour as we scousers are renowned for and yes Lynne is beautiful and also a very wonderful person too and we have become good friends through this thread

I cant wait for the big day when Annie and Michel will appear at the church and we can all have a group hug for the man who brought us all together across the world its just so amazing

Graham asked me today what is the next quest and I replied its the Anzac thread and explained a little about it. I do not have the URL to show you now but someone will post it for me I am sure of that.

We had a wonderful meet today and I felt proud to be a part of it.

Here is the link to the Anzac thread:

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,300953.0.html

The difference with this one is that several ancestors have been located for both the soldiers involved.

And there is a love story here too  ;)

I will browse the link, thank you so much. My best friend kidsnana's sister  lives right in the centre of Southport! So glad that you are getting to get together, lucky so and so's. Can't wait for the suggested memorial Service. Sounds perfect to me.
I am in my caravan with hubby, weather for half term looks iffy. Typical!! I feel good though so will enjoy the break. Plus my new gizmo gadget from orange is working. I can use my laptop!!!
No withdrawel pains because I can't get on line.
Goodnight Godbless all.

 ;D  ;D  ;D - LOL!

I never thought I'd still be called 'young' in my late forties!!!  It's a good job Edna's photos are a little blurred.....  it smooths the wrinkles out!

The Outlaw (Alan's Dad - not an official in-law - yet...) calls us the young ones quite often but he is 83 and it's all relative..... sorry about the pun!  ::)

If we disagree about something he says 'well I'm old and you young ones like different things to us pensioners'.   :D
