Hi everyone

Has anyone had an idea about a date for the group visit to St Peter's? It might help if we can give the stonemason's a definite target and it will help Scrimnet to organise his men!  I guess a lot depends on Michel and those further away as to when they can make the arrangments.

I have had a look at the calendar and these are the weekends in June.

7th and 8th
14th and 15th
21st and 22nd
28th and 29th

I personally won't be available for the last weekend as I am running a Local History Exhibition at my Church but any of the first three will suit me.

Over to you!

Lynne

Hi MissM, I was hoping that it would be around the week of half term so that my friend could come for a visit from Florida. (kidsnana) Otherwise there is no point her coming all that way farther on, as we would have no time to do anything with me working full time. What a shame. If she decides to come later in the summer break it will be all over! She will miss the special day anyway. We would obviously got to Roberts grave. So I will just fit in with whatever date is decided.

What date is half term .

I was rather hoping Michel and Sabine may have found the time to attend for the meet up but have not heard from him yet if he will be coming May or June and had been waiting for him to respond before replying to Lynne on the thread

I can make any date really myself and I think we should ask for those who wish to attend to possibly contact myself with their preferred date and we will see the general consensus for what date to have the friends of scrimnet in attendance once we have decided.
Bearing in mind the weekend of the date tisgrannie will be available also.

I think once we have the numbers of the people who are attending then the refreshments side of things can be arranged and we can let Graham know.

I also think Lynne has done a wonderful job so far and lets not leave everything up to her to have to do the lot.

Meanwhile I think the offer of help with a rootschat press release would be great and think we should have a volunteer to work with (sorry can't remember who it was) the person who made the offer of help to have it in place for the time it is needed or whatever it is to be done not forgetting to include Michel by name this time.
