I have been following your heroic efforts on Robert's behalf and am delighted you have "got there".    It must have been a frustrating/fantastic journey.    I think this story should hit the Sunday papers - how about the Sunday Express - it is just the sort of story they would love.

Incidentally, I saw a website recently called mail[at]buglemajor.com - it is a guy who will play at weddings, funerals, anything in fact.    Don't know about charges.   Wondered if a bugler playing the "Last Post" (or even for Michel the Marsalleis - I think I spelt in wrongly .... I am not sure you could do it justice on a bugle either).

Congratulations to all involved.

Sue

What a great thought Sue!  Nice to have you along  ;D

Lynne & I were talking and she reminded me that Annie's summary is here, for anyone who wants to remind themselves of the journey in double quick time  ;)

Hello, I like the way things are going. The Bugler idea made me think his old Regt! Could they be mentioned in the planning, just a thought!!
Make it a big thing might even get on the local TV , BBC North west and Granada. Wouldn't that be something. A great advert for roots!
I'll go off and dream some more, flags flying, ladies in hats, cream cakes and tea and possibly a relative of Roberts comes along on the day. Aaaahhh !
I'm a silly old dreamer.

Just to say that The Echo came today to church to take a photo of the grave and they mentioned the feature should be in the paper "soon".

Great News Graham were you in the picture.

It seems so strange that we will soon be reading all about it in the Echo so we will have to check the Echo website each day this week so we can run off to get one before they all sell out with all the requests from rootschatters.

Hi all. What great news everyone. We could do with placing an order for the Echo for all concerned! Maybe through the Echo. Some may be happy to read it on line!! I would prefer to have one as well to keep.
It has been quiet on the link. I keep checking in to see if I have not rec'd a message.
Best wishes
