Hi All

Miss M would it be possible to put a step by step guide on here for anyone wishing to donate?

It would be awful if people were put off just because they didn't know how simple it was to donate and I for one would love to see it as I am a little unsure myself.

Many thanks for offering to coordinate the donations.

Hi All

As I see it you have to sign up for a basic (Personal) Paypal account to be able to transfer money.

I've had an account for a while and haven't had any problems, easy to use for transactions via the internet, (providing of course they accept paypal :-\) as your bank account/card details aren't revealed to anyone else.

Hi all

I've been sending out private emails to the most recent posters to ask for their private emails and amount they wish to donate.

As far as I can tell,  I then ask PayPal to request the amount from the email address and when you receive the request, you just follow the onscreen instructions.  You may have to sign up to the free account but if you don't use it, you can cancel afterwards.

I don't know if anyone has any negative feelings about them but I've never personally had any problems with PayPal and use it all the time to buy off the internet. It's quick, easy and straighforward.

However,  if anyone really doesn't want to do it that way, can they send me a private email and we'll sort something out

We're nearly there guys!!!  ;D

Wow!  That got off the ground quickly!  One payment already in, three on the way!

I'm speaking to Welsbys tomorrow to see if they will take cheques off people who don't want to use PayPal but if they can't, I will take them myself at home.  I can't see any other way round it.

I'll let you know tomorrow where we're up to - (or later tonight if we carry on like this!)

Well Done everyone!

Hi everyone!

I've got one donation in, 3 people who are trying Paypal first but might send a cheque instead, and 3 more who will just send a cheque when I sort out where to send them!  That stone is on the move already!

I'll give you another update tomorrow - I'm off to beddie byes now!

Goodnight and God Bless all,
Lynne

Hi all

I couldn't get through to Welsbys today so those of you who want to pay by cheque or bank transfer, please PM me and I'll give you my own details.  It seems the easiest and quickest way.

If you still want to pay by Paypal, that's fine too.  Just let me know your email address and amount.

Thanks for your patience!
