Hi again
I believe Thomas was transported on the Lord Auckland 25/8/1846 - but have yet to confirm this.
I found Thomas Cleary's sentencing on the National Archives of Ireland website - Trial date 11/3/1846 - Petitioned 12/3/1846 in Clonmel by his father James (this is where I picked up their residence being in Burncourt). Have not yet managed to find any further info on James or Margaret (maiden name unknown) in Burncourt though - most frustrating!
Do you have any hints and/or leads?
Cheers

Burncourt, an chúirt dóite, the burnt court. A location named after the burning of a house by Oliver Cromwell in 1649.
