Hello Mark it's good to hear from you.
(*) and
(*) are my aunt and uncle (I'm
(*) daughter). I don't know where to start. I have traced our ancestors as far back as 1662 (I think) but still have to verify some of it and it ground to a halt recently due to Christmas and planning a new kitchen! I have attached a copy of my findings (if you can read it). Most of the family came from Groeswen or Eglwysilan near Caerphilly or from Llantrithyd (there's lots of Christophers in the churchyard there who are related to us). Castellau Fawr was a lovely house (well it still is - it was for sale recently).
(*) is also on this forum and is a cousin of ours who lives near St Mary Church. Most of the farms between Cardiff and Bridgend had or have relatives living on them at one time or another.
It's good to hear from you and I will keep you posted if I find anything interesting.....
Kind regards Susan
