Hi Dee,

Do these look correct?

Palatine Houses

Geo F Jacobs, head, 25, Artist and Engraver (on wood), b. Surrey Christchurch  ***
Mary Ann, wife, 20, b. Middlesex Shoreditch

Hi Tati
i dont think these are the ones as George was born in Salisbury and Mary Ann was born in Margate.
best wishes

Why didn't you say?  ;)

Do you know how old they would be too?  :)

I still think my earlier 1861 find is a very good match for the Shoreditch marriage - are you sure your Mary Ann was nee Robertson?

This looks like your family this time:

1871
RG10/629 108 28
St Mary Magdalen Bermondsey, London
26 Brandon St

George Jacobs, head, 41, Shoemaker, b. Salisbury
Mary Ann, wife, 37, b. Margate
Charles, son, 11, Errand Boy, b. Lambeth
Mary Ann, dau, 9, scholar, b. Newington
James, son, 7, scholar, b. do.
Elizabeth, dau, 4, b; Bermondsey

Struggling to find them in 1861 for now  :P

I think you have the wrong marriage.   George was already married to Mary Ann in 1851:

1851 Bermondsey, Surrey

George Jacobs    33    b. Salisbury
M.A. Jacobs         20    b. Margate
Geo. Jacobs        1 mo   b. Bermondsey
W. Jacobs        67       b. Salisbury
E. Jacobs         62       b. ?

HO107 - 1562 - 241 - 26
Scopes (One-Name Study - Worldwide)
Suffolk - Grist, Knights, Bullenthorpe, Watcham
Scotland - Spence, Horne, Cowan, Moffat
London -  Monk
