the internet has made it a very small world. Sitting here in Brighton, I posted a request for information on MIs in Macclesfield, that you were kind enough to answer, then I had a look at this thread to see one of my favourite pubs mentioned.

I was born in Liverpool and grew up in Crosby, and the Volley along with the Old Bank and the Victoria were regular watering holes.
