Ah good! Another day to celebrate

Is there going to be a national holiday to celebrate the occasion? My paternal granny came from Lancashire.

The Friends of Real Lancashire website says:

"On this day in 1295 the first elected representatives from Lancashire were called to Westminster
by King Edward I to attend what later became known as "The Model Parliament"."

Wednesday 21st November to Saturday 2nd December sounds like a great party to me

Christopher, I've decided to go and start early today, a pint of wonderful Lancashire Ale will be slipping down my throat in about 20mins time, my local opens at 10.30

Maybe they knew about it in Australia. On the Antiques Roadshow this afternoon - we had a program from Lancashire  (It was made in 1998  )
