Ah good! Another day to celebrate 8)

Is there going to be a national holiday to celebrate the occasion? My paternal granny came from Lancashire.

The Friends of Real Lancashire website says:

"On this day in 1295 the first elected representatives from Lancashire were called to Westminster
by King Edward I to attend what later became known as "The Model Parliament"."

Maybe they knew about it in Australia. On the Antiques Roadshow this afternoon - we had a program from Lancashire  (It was made in 1998  :o )
