Beales, Kerr and Rogers

I am trying to find any info on this family.
John Beale
born 1821 in either Dublin or County Wicklow.
Parents: benjamin Beale a farmer
mother: Sarah Slater
married Margaret Rogers nee Kerr abt 1844
children:
John Beale abt 1846
Sarah Beale 1849 born Dublin
migrated to australia 1848 on the "Stag"

Margaret Kerr married James George Rogers poss in Wexford and had at least 3 children to him..they must have moved to Dublin as he was supposed to have been killed in the riots abt 1840 he was supposed to have been in the Royal Irish Constabulary.

I cannot as yet locate her death cert so place of birth and parents are unknown as are James George Rogers ......

A John and Margaret Beale married c. 1844 and their two children were born at Cloghran, North County Dublin:

1) John Beale b 10 Nov 1845 at Cloghran
2) Sarah Beale b 1 July 1848 at Cloghran

This sounds like your family??

I am so pleased to see some info on this family it has been a long while since I had any info on them....
Is there anything else on them , where did the info come from do you have any idea if a marriage record exists.....
or a death of james Rogers..
I wonder if the beales had a farm there............feels great to have a new lead

It should be possible to search the old parish registers for the Cloghran/Swords area and see if an exact address is given.  Have you done that - or did you even know they were in Cloghran?

You may also find evidence of other family members in the area, ie who acted as godparents to young John and Sarah, etc.

Ironically, a few years later - at the time of Griffiths Valuation - the Beale family do not appear in either Cloghran or nearby Swords.

I had no idea there was such a place........on John Beales death certificate it mentions dublin..........and on his daughter sarah's death cert it mentions dublin...
I have John Beales parents as Benjamin Beale and Sarah Slater he was a farmer.

John Beale and his wife Margaret and their two children migrated to Australia in 1848 just a few months after the birth of sarah Beale..
also migrating with them were Margarets children by her first marriage to James George Rogers....I do not know where Mary Rogers and Catherine Rogers were born but George Rogers the son was born in Wexford according to his death certificate..

How would I go about searching the old parish registers for Cloghran/Swords..........

I've been looking at the Beale family and have entered all I have found into WikiTree. It covers the next four or five generations after the family migrated to Australia. Check the WikiTree entry Beale-403 and follow the links from there. However, I'd love to find out some more about John's ancestors if anyone can point me in the right direction...
