To possibly add some more uncertainties, found in Ontario marriage records

Everything a little "off"  but thought I would put it out there anyway in case it somehow fits.

Looked for Louisa, May & Jennie  McGowen b. in Canada did not find them nor any children registered to either a Thomas or John McGowen in Ontario Births 1869-1909.

Was looking to see if Elinor Frazer,  Roomer in 1920 w/ the McGowen's  was related to Isabel's future husband, Keith .   Not finding  connection.

AND if there were any naming patterns with  Belle/Isabela & Keith's children which might connect  Belle/Isabela's mother as either Julia or Ida. 


Curiously,  in 1900,  Keith's father Earnest Fraser seems to be called "Garnet"  and the family is found in Milwaukee, WI

Seems to be quite alot of transcribed, indexed information for St. Claire Co..  You will need the "Search" function on your browser to cull through !!!

As I was searching cemeteries, there is a Margaret A and James Cain buried in Lakeside Cemetery, Section H.  The birth dates seem off but often the children or whoever reports the information are not sure of their parent's exact birth years  or could be a transcription error, but might be worth further investigation.

James Cain              1927 St. Clair Co.        Was your James in the 1930 census???
Margaret Ann Cain  1944 St. Clair Co.

No ages given however --  darn!

In case you have not had the opportunity to check a county map for Michigan,  Wayne Co. (Detroit) and St. Clair Co.  do not touch but they are a very short distance apart so would have been a short distance for the families to travel.

So the James Cain who dies in 1927 St Clair is a possible for Margaret Ann's husband.

Someone locally in St. Clair Co. maybe able to make the verifications or check the Lakeside cemetery records for you.
