Clifton Hampden Parish Registers - TALBOT

Hi,
Does anyone have access to Oxfordshire Parish Registers?  I am trying to find out about the TALBOT family of Clifton Hampden Oxon.  I know that Robert TALBOT married Ruth FRUIN in 1807 but am trying to locate their parents and more details on them such as their dates of birth, dates of death etc.

Any information whatsoever would be really appreciated.

I dont have them but know where you can purchase them - Oxford family history society  - they are not expensive

(they are on fiche by the way)

Hi,

I have no idea if you are still looking for this but I have the Clifton Hampden parish registers and can tell you that a Robert Talbot married Ruth Fruin on 25 feb 1807.

I cannot find baptisms that fit either spouse in the parish though.

Robert TALBOT buried 9 February 1837  aged 57yrs [1780] in Clifton Hampton

Ruth TALBOT buried 25 May 1847 aged 66yrs [1781] in Clifton Hampton

If I may hazard a guess....

A Ruth FRUIN was baptised at Cowley in 1780 to John and Elizabeth {see IGI}

John FREWIN from Mongwell married a Elizabeth BRUCH in Brightwell Baldwin in 1760 {see IGI}.

They may of gone to Cowley after their marriage as there's no baptisms in either Mongewell or Brightwell by the looks of it and a John/Elizabeth started baptising in Cowley by 1763.

A John Frewin was baptised in Ipsden 1736 and 1739 {see IGI}. A burial with an age would help here.

A lot of FREWINs in Toot Baldon too. Even a Ruth FRUIN but too young at the time. 

Like a said a guess...it needs a lot of chasing up to confirm things...
