Would love to know regarding SMITH please.
My mothers Fathers family lived at Double block.
Not sure of a number.

Hi Elaine,

My folk came from that area.  Would you have any info on Clark, Arnott, Balfour or McCall ... mainly from coal mining area of Cluny.
My mother was born in Denside Cottage in Cluny and have tried to get a photo of it, also Brookside Cottage.  Do you know of anyone in the area who could take a photos for me please?

My Smiths travelled to Cardenden from North East, Gateshead.
Never really worked out why. But the mother Sarah Jane's mother was called Hunter...
