Hi
I can't help with your hunt for parentage of John Perrett but was surprised to see your request for information as I have just learnt of the connection between him and my family. Sarah Snook who was his housekeeper and presumably mistress with probably 2 children (Emmaline also baptized the same day as John Perrett Snook). Sarah's maiden name was Goodfellow and she was sister of one of my direct ancestors. Her husband Henry Snook was possibly one who died Sep Qtr 1842 about the time their youngest child Alfred Snook was born. Sarah and her children had moved to Melksham by 1861 and looks like John Perrett also lived there.
Regards, Carmel
