WORRALL RICHARD 1851 census
« on: Friday 31 December 04 05:03 GMT (UK) »
Trying to find Richard Worrall and Family in 1851.  In 1861 he had the Brockmoor Inn - Brockmore, Staffordshire.  He was born in around 1821 in Warwickshire (per 1871 census) and was in Kingswinford in 1871, with Wife Martha born 1823 and son William born 1848.

In 1861 there was Richard aged 40 (1821)  Martha 39 (1822) emily 20 (1841) Ann 18 (1843) Richard 16 (1845) William 12 (1849) Jenny (could be Henry!!) 10 (1851) and an Ann Hayward (67).

I am not sure whether Martha is the mother of any or all of the children.  William is my concern but have not had success with his birth certificate

Any help, ideas, much appreciated

Anne in sunny OZ

Hi Anne

My Richard Worrall born 1823 was a pearl button maker in Birmingham in censuses 1851 onwards.
I assumed this Richard on 1841 census was mine but I have no proof. I haven't found baptisms for him or his sister, I assume, or possible parents.
I do have this Richard's marriage to Eliza Savage in 1845, as a remember, at Kings Norton Parish Church.

I hope this helps you,
Best regards
