Alchin, Waters from Staplehurst search

Would appreciate hearing from anyone researching our family name of Ambose Alchin & wife Ann (Waters) of the  Staplehurst Kent area. My wifes G/G/grandfather  arrived Australia mid 1840's with their family. Have a bit of info but trying to piece it all together.Also Grant's, Loudwell and Gibbons from presume same area

I have a connection to the Alchin/Waters family, via the marriage of Margaret Alchin and John Haynes.  Margaret & John were married 1839 in Australia. 
Can't work out where you are from or whether you are researching in Australia as well as UK.  We have some info on the Alchin/Waters connection.

Margaret Alchin is the sister of William James Alchin Born  8 Nov 1827. William is my wifes G/G/grandfather. William & Margaret father was Ambrose & mother Ann Elizabeth Waters. Have Abrose born abt 1800 Staplehurst Kent & Ann Elizabeth Waters born abt 1798 Kent.
So we are on the same line.

We are in Australia?  and are indirectly related to the Alchin's via another descendant who married into the Haynes family.  I did look at your profile to see where you were, but you have no indication.

Mary Ann mar Christopher William He(a)mpstead 1874 Aus their son
Thomas Charles Hampstead mar Mary Ann Elizabeth Boyce 1900 Aus their son
William Frederick Charles Hampstead mar Margory Oddy 1928 Aus and they are Elsa's parents

From Margaret and her husband John Haynes, they connect with hubby I can't at the moment find the exact relationship, but the descendants end up in Forbes.  Via a marriage to one of his Payne's.

I have John Haynes mar.24 Dec 1839 at St Thomas Mulgoa NSW Australia to Margaret Alchin born 22 Sep 1823 Staplehurst Kent England - christened 22 Jun 1838 at sea on"PALMYRA" died 6 Feb 1883 at Wallendbeen NSW Australia buried 8 Feb 1883 C/E cem. Murrumburrah NSW Australia.
I have them having 3 children
Christopher born 25/12/1844 died Jan 1872 Young NSW
Richard born 25/11/1848
Martha Matilda christened 21 Feb 1856 mar Alfred James Marshall 12/7/1875 at Young NSW & they had a son Alfred John Marshall who married Annette Hutton & their son Kenneth Hutton Marshall born 10 Feb 1922 Camden NSW who mar. Gwen Chalmers 13 Apr 1948 (don't know where)
