MISSING CHILDREN
« on: Thursday 30 December 04 23:29 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone help trace any children of James and Elizabeth Liddle, they married in 1835 Manchester and I know of 2 children, Simon and Elizabeth born in the following 3 years, in 1881 they are living with a daughter Emily and her family named Wilkinson.  Emily would have been born in 1850, so I think there may be more children to be found.  Although their name was Liddle it was spelt Liddale in 1881 census. Any help welcome.
Best wishes
Kathy

Hello,

Not sure what the best way of doing this is, but one way is doing a 'parent search' on the IGI here http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp

I had a quick look and the possibilities (subject to verification) seem to be:

Ann 1841
Mary 1842
Simon 1838
Isabella 1839
Elizabeth 1839

All baptism dates.

Couldn't see an Emily, except one born 1852 in Glasgow.

good luck
Jonathan
