Hi Tati and Gillywilly, This is a complicated one! I was hoping for a lead on Sarah's death - I have her birth and marriage details BUT.

Sarah married William Fell but later William married? a widow Mary Ann Jacobs nee Mann. Mary Ann had two children to William - William Henry b1875 and John Thomas b1877 . There is another child George Arthur Fell and I don't know if Sarah or Mary Ann is the mother. I cannot find George A's birth details but he does feature in the 1891 and 1901 census and married a Ada Brown in 1897. Thank you for your help - it is appreciated. Geoff.

In 1861, they are in the pontefract registration district. I see a possible death

Sarah Fell March 1862 Pontefract 9c 50
Unfortunately the index doesn't show age at death  :-\

Hi

Not sure if you have found William & Mary Fell on the 1881 Census but they are under the name of "Tell" at Ormesby ref RG11; Piece: 4861; Folio: 38; Page: 16

From what Tati said, George A must be the son of Mary as he was born after the death date that Tati found for Sarah which fits in.
