Robert Lintern in Aston 1901
« on: Sunday 18 November 07 13:52 GMT (UK) »
One of my Great Uncles, Robert Lintern was lodging in this area on the 1901 census. He was born c 1880 in Shepton Mallet,Somerset. I have found a possible marriage for him in Aston in 1906 and am sending for the marriage certificate. Meanwhile, I wonder if anyone has any connection to the Lintern name in their research ?

Hi Geoff

My relation in aston is Albert Edward lintern 1922 aston. His father is Arthur John Lintern (1882) Shepton Mallet married Nora Kate Elson.  Arthurs father was a Jame Lintern 1837-1922 who married a elizabeth vallard.

Do these link to your tree.

Hi hully,

I'm afraid you have the wrong information regarding the parents of Arthur. His father was in fact James who married Eliza Babey ! In my tree! Are you on Genes Reunited?

Regards,
Geoff
