Many years ago before I became a serious drinker and geneaologist I saw a map of Cardiff pubs. It was not really to scale but was interesting. Wish I had a copy. Does anyone know of such a document existing today?

Yes only the docks at present. Though Ada Evans worked at the Sandringham Hotel at one time in the 1920's also my dad's sister. Am also looking for a pub in Newport. Isle of Wight called the Trooper Inn, it was pulled down about 1970's to make way for a shopping centre.

Hello Marja. The Sandringham Hotel Is still in St Mary Street the main street in Cardiff its now know for its Jazz nights. Click on the link on the message re cardiff pubs and click on Bay ( used to be the docks) Happy hunting.

    Had a look at the IOW site. Very interesting I enjoyed looking at it.   I tried Google to find Mews Beers, but no luck! and there was the history of the brewers  of Mews Beer on the site.
