Hi,
Does anyone know where Ganister Row is ?

It is an address on a marriage certificate, 1844 at Penistone Parish Church.

Any help appreciated.

1841 census shows it in Thurlstone (Parish of Penistone), spelt 'Gannister'.

Did you ever find out any more about Thurlstone - Gannister Row in particular?

My wife's ggg grand-dad, William Young,  and his family lived there in 1841 but I've not found it on any of the old maps I've found.

Hi,

No, I haven't found a map showing Gannister Row.

I did get an Ordnance Explorer Map 4cm to 1 km but there was nothing shown on that.
