Help deciphering language please.

I have this 1739 OPR marriage entry for my 5x great Grandparents James BLAIR and Helen nee FORSYTH in Tranent.
Can anyone help interpret the 2 words above the entry and also which Parish James Blair was from?

I also have a 1765 OPR entry of a marriage entry for my 4xgreat grandparents William SIM and Janet BLAIR whose mge lines were daterd in Edin. Assuming this to be Edinburgh.
Can anyone tell me what 'Compeard' translates to as this word precedes William's name as well as some other males in other entries, though not all.

I have seen and heard the expression 'oedem die' before.
I cannot be sure but I believe it means 'on the same day'

The parish could be Fala or Gala but again, I'm not sure.  More likely to be Fala as it is nearer Tranent.

I'm more confident with the first bit of my reply.

and
Helen FORSYTH marriage James BLAIR 6 Jul 1739, Tranent, East Lothian

and children to them.

Thanks very much all of you. I had an inkling it may be  something to do with
'day' given it made me think of 'carpe diem', or 'seize the day'. So glad I did the latter.

Any thoughts on the 'Compeard'.    No matter if not - I am sure it will come out somewhere.

JAP - Funny but that's exactly what my former married initials were [ went from a JAG to JAP now JAN - had tinkled with the idea of hyphenating the last 2 so  I would only be missing an A for JAP'N] Sorry but I had to put that in! 
I had found the IGI entries but so many were submitted by Members and I have had problems with that before but at least it gave me an idea to go on.

The marriage entries for James BLAIR & Helen FORSYTH are both extracted entries - presumably Banns being proclaimed in both the groom's and the bride's parishes; the entries themselves would probably make this clear.

There are also extracted entries for children of the couple, all Tranent:
Jannet BLAIR bap 2 Jan 1743
Agnes BLAIR bap 9 Nov 1744
Helen BLAIR bap 14 Oct 1750
Elspeth BLAIR bap 23 Nov 1755

Unfortunately this Batch seems to be one of those infuriating batches in the online IGI where only females have been extracted!  There might be males on SP ...

If you've gone this far back, you are very fortunate.

PS: 'Compear' is a pretty common word in Scots recordsl
PPS: My 'maiden' initials were JAS.

I went back into FamilySearch sfter your post JAP and found as you did that there was indeed a doubled up 'mix' of extracted and 'submitted' entries...I had just noted the first ones I saw originally were the latter so gave up going further - what a Wombat!!
