thanks for the help
my dad never spoke about any of his army stuff except that he was so proud
of that picture he only showed us it a couple of months before he died
he was born 1928 so I take it he was probably 18-20 when he done his national service
he and my mum married in 52 and he was working else where then
I have another one in a box trying to reach it down to put it on
