Grandfather Coowie
« on: Thursday 15 November 07 20:16 GMT (UK) »
My grandfather was Archibald Fleming Cowie  b: 21/08/1898  d: 5/01/1953. He was married to Margaret mcIntosh.
What i am trying to find out is about his children, I know about my father Duncan and his brother George but he also had a brother Alec who died at an early age.
My father has passed away and my mother has no information on him. If anyone has any info on him it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Sandy

yes clackmannan(shire) matches on S.P. with marriage 1918
was he posted overseas or was he lucky enough to be demobbed
by the end of the war ?
S.P. BIRTHS are only up to 1906 but a death for alexander might be
possible to find(can you provide info. on where they lived)
as for finding brothers or sisters this might prove difficult/expensive
unless you can find some relatives

I believe that I have quite alot of information relating to your grandfather or at least his family.  My grandfather was James Cowie from Airdrie and I have an awful lot of information with regards to the cowies in the district.  I have to go prepare dinner but if you are looking again after 7 tonight I can update you
