I havent found a connection to James Snoddy and Eliza Curley to date, my Snoddy line is Matthew Lyle b. 1766 married to Elizabeth Snoddy 1768 they were married in 1797 their daughter was my 3rd great grand mother.

My Snoddy family are earlier than this

My family is James Lyle of Browndod b abt 1681 married Margaret Snoddy b Abt 1685 of Ballyrickard Raloo her parents are said to be William Snoddy and Jane Adams

James Lyle and Margaret Snoddy had grandson Matthew Lyle who married Elizabeth b. abt 1760 Snoddy of Carnduff d. 1830 Raloo. She was said to have a brother John Snoddy who was living in Ballyrickard Raloo

This is all I have on my Snoddy line I have been trying to find more information.

I did have a look at Andrew Snoddy who is buried in Larne and I think he was married 3 times this needs checking, on his will he mentions his wife and his daughter not our daughter this is the info I have and so far I cannot connect him.

2.  ANDREW2 SNODDY (ANDREW1) was born Abt. 1771, and died 31 Jan 1843 in On Moore gravestone, St Cedma's Larne.  He married (1) SARAH BEGGS.  She was born 1780, and died 06 Mar 1833 in St Cedma's Larne.  He married (2) SARAH.  She was born 1780, and died 07 Mar 1833 in Larne, Antrim, Ireland.  He married (3) SARAH MOORE 1835 in Based on 1851 census, daughter of WILLIAM MOORE and JANE.  She was born Abt. 1796, and died 19 Apr 1857 in St Cedma's Larne.

Notes for ANDREW SNODDY:
There is also a Matthew Snoddy on the gravestone in St Cedma's d. July 11 1918 aged 75 years born 1843 or 1842 is he a son of Sarah Moore and he was born after Andrew died. Or is he a grandson of Andrew Snoddy and Sarah Beggs or a grandson of Andrew Snoddy and another potential first wife and did Andrew and Sarah marry March 10 1829

Andrew would have been married before Sarah Beggs and therefore who is the mother of Margaret White and Martha Houston mentioned on his will.

Note from Andrew's will
I leave my house, which I purchased from Robert Mewha, to my wife Sarah upon condition that she is to pay the sum of 15 to my daughter, Martha Houston, or if she declines to do so, I desire that said house be left to my daughter Martha and she pay my said wife the sum of L15...

This note states my daughter not our daughter and Sarah is his said wife not her mother

It looks like Andrew was married 3 times

Are you still on line, my Drummond line is very early before 1700 in Raloo but I am trying to connect the moore line from Raloo which includes the name Drummond as a middle name.
