vi.   AGNES GIBSON, b. 1860, Wisconsin.

If anyone has any information I would be grateful.  There is some info on the LDS, statieg william came from Hertfordshire, but I cannot link this to my William.  Can anyone help?

I also have a Hannah Wilkinson who married a Andrew Herrick in 1860 in Moundsville, Wisconsin.  I think Andrew joined the Union not long after and was discharged.  However, I cannot find Hannah on the censuses after 1860.  Can anyone help?

Many thanks

Hi -

As regards Moundville, the Marquette County Genweb site [http://www.rootsweb.com/~wimarque/index.html] is good and has many references to Wilkinsons and Herricks.

The American half of my family is all from Marquette County, and mostly from Moundville Twsp., so if you need some more info on this area, send me a  PM.  I put my grandfather's notes on his boyhood in Marquette County on this the genweb site.  Unfortunately, he did not mention any Herricks or Wilkinsons, but it would give an idea of what this area was like in the last quarter of the 19th century,

vi.   AGNES GIBSON, b. 1860, Wisconsin.

I believe this is my father's paternal grandmother's mother (my great great grandmother). Agnes Gibson, b. 1860, Wisconsin, married George Miller, b. 1859, Pennsylvania, in Dubuque, Iowa. She died in 1935 in Dubuque, Iowa. I don't know too much beyond that.
