1851 Gloucestershire Census help
« on: Tuesday 06 November 07 23:57 GMT (UK) »
Would someone please help me with a mystery?

I am trying to trace William Walkley in the 1851 Census - his wife Ann is shown in the Census for Tewkesbury with the entry "husband working on the water".  In later Censuses his place of birth is given as Tewkesbury with an approximate date of birth of 1824.

Any help would be very much appreciated as this is driving me mad :)

Oh dear, nothing found I'm afraid, but Watermen are sometimes very difficult to find, some of mine I've just had to give up on, as they were probably travelling on a canal and just weren't enumerated in the census.
