       as far as I know we still don't have Defiance Penfold in 1881...this where it gets tricky,there is Defiance and Fiance both born 1872.(I think Ive got that right)..

i think that debs said back in part 1 that they were not the same but having trawled through part 1 again i canntop see it, will have to wait for Deb to ask again.

as we can't find Defiance in 1881 can we find Fiance?

(there is a Defiance in 1881 but she belongs to henry Penfold & Ocean Hughes)

Tony,  on the first thread I found something about a Defiance Penfold.....and Deb told me who she was......but I can't remember which page it was on.......I'll try and find it.....

I found the baptism...it is Defiance, daughter of Robert and Louisa! Did she survive or was it her that died.....

so is it Defiance daughter of Robert and Louisa who died in 1873,Deb said it wasn't because she had her in the 1891,does she have her being the daughter of Robert and Louisa,if not then the death must be right..

how brilliant everyone has been ... This rather large family of mine seems to have grown somewhat since I left ...   Not only do I have more info but I am sure this thread is going to help other Penfold/Orchard researchers !!!!

I have read through , but need to do it again  (and again, and again) in order to figure out the extended family ....
