yes it is only that census that says kilmarnock!!!

It was probably one of those census errors - by the person or the enumerator 

Makes searching that much more interesting

now if i had the names of james and janet's parents we could go back another step for kenny, unfortunatly there is 4 james pringles on the 1851 all born glasgow.

Looks like they married early 1860s.

No mention of deceased after any names.
