Hi Ken

I've found some possibles in 1851 in Greenoak, Bellasize near Howden.

Are you working backwards or forwards?

The ones I have found have William aged 50 in 1851 & Mary aged 37, with children ranging from 22 years [previous marriage] to 11 months - Lydia, Mary, Joseph, Harriet, Henry, Emma, George & Edwin.

Does this sound like them?

Hi Ken

1841 census - Greenoak
HO 107/1226/6 folio 7 pg 8

William Harrison; 40; shopkeeper; Yes [born in county]
Mary do; 27; No
William do; 19; Yes
Lydia do; 14; Yes
Hannah do; 17; Yes
Mary do; 4; Yes
Joseph do; 3; Yes
Harriet do; 1; Yes

Ages of adults were commonly rounded down to the nearest 5 or 0 in 1841 census but it is not clear that this was applied here.
