Enoch Cowdell/Coldhill born 7/2/1797
l would love to know his father's name and occupation and any other details there may be

Yes l have seen that one and think it was a distant mormon relative in America who submitted it.
l was hoping someone could view the actual record to confirm Enoch's father was Joseph and see if it stated where he came from.

Is this your baptism:-
 St Mary's Church, Stockport, February 1797
Enoch, son of Joseph & Sarah Cawdwell [that's how it's spelt in the register] of Heaton, born 7 inst and baptised 26th.
There isn't any occupation for Joseph.

Yes l would say it is him
Was there anything to suggest where his father was from?
lt's been horrendous trying to get further back on the Cowdell's

No, sorry there were no other details.
I did have a quick look at St Mary's Stockport marriage index
but didn't spot any Cowdell's or variations of the name.
