you can scrub Defiance Orchard... i found her 1881 with father Edwin and Elizabeth  :(
 

Elizabeth PENFOLD b c 1845 (d/o John and Harriet Penfold , sister of my Thomas who married Sophia ORCHARD)  married Edwin ORCHARD (b c 1843).

See what I mean ...confusing  :-X :-\

Deb, I just found a baptism for a Defiance Penfold....but tis daughter of Robert & Louisa....Truro St Mary's .....22 Sep 1872 

Sorry if you already had this one....but I can't remember everything from the other thread.....  :'(

I also found the inscription on a gravestone for a Christopher Penfold but he was too young to be the son of Thomas and Sophia.

In the Truro Cemetery Ref 1171 Christopher PENFOLD 17 Apr 1959 Age 58

just looked at the Gypsy site from Maidmarianoops..... list of surnames includes BOWERS  ;D  ;D
